Built strong with 3” x 3” 11-gauge steel and a 1400+ lb / 635+ kg weight capacity, the RX3 Tornado Smith Machine Rack is a solid unit for strength trainers. Its modular design features offset, 1” holes with 2” spacing on all four sides, with lase-cut numbering on each hole allowing for efficient accessory mounting. The hardware is coated with a black e-coat which is more resistant to corrosion and more durable against knocks and chips. The RX3 Tornado Smith Rack is available in both a 4-post or a 6-post option, offering all the functionality and space-saving benefits of either a half rack or a full power rack. Included in the 4-post package is a pair of j-cups for barbell racking and a 42” pull up bar for bodyweight movements, while the 6-post option adds a set of flip-down safeties for extra safety when working in the rack. A plate-loaded smith machine system is integrated into the rack for when you don’t want to use a traditional barbell setup. It helps to prioritise safety, especially when training alone, and offers better isolation of targeted muscles. The smith bar measure 28mm in diameter, with 13” of loadable plate sleeve. Chrome safety hooks and chrome pins avoid any damage to the rack’s powder coat finish. The pulley system includes dual 200 lb / 90kg weight stacks that operate on a 2:1 ratio with a 5 lb / 2.3 kg starting weight. With the 2:1 ratio, the RX3 rack offers an extended cable travel that gives users an even wider range of motion and exercise versatility. At the end of the cables are GET RXD’s patent-pending Tornado Pivot Arms, which put total control of workouts into the hands of the user. Featuring four-way adjustability, these arms glide along the chrome uprights, swivel 180° horizontally, 90° vertically and rotate 360° at the cable ends, ensuring you can hit every angle and maximise versatility. Each trolley is lined with heavy-duty protective plastic to reduce scratching and scuffs on the uprights, with a cut-out window for easy reading of the laser-etched numbering and seamless alignment. Enhanced with stainless steel, the Tornado Pivot Arms are built to last. The adjustable angles of the Tornado Pivot Arms allow for unilateral and bilateral training in any direction. At their widest, the arms extend to 81” / 206 cm, or when you pivot them inwards, measure just 10” / 25.4 cm in distance. The RX3 Tornado Rack comes with a pair of D-Handles included, which feature a knurled aluminium handle and quality anti-slip rubber.
